Why is my system blowing warm air?
Well it sounds like your compressor may not be functioning or maybe you have an airflow issue that is causing the discomfort in your home. I suggest calling a professional ASAP.
How Often do I need to change my filter?
Many in the industry will tell you that changing your filter monthly is ideal but I would say that whenever you notice the filter is getting pretty dirty that would be the time to change it. everyone’s home is different and someone who keeps their home museum clean will change the filter less often, where as someone like myself with pets and I live near orchards might change it every month or two.
How much do new systems cost?
Installing a new HVAC system for your home is one of the largest expenses in your life and it needs to be done carefully, don’t just purchase a system from any company without getting at least two more estimates to compare price, quality and to see which company makes you feel more comfortable with them in your home. What are the benefits of Bi-Annual Maintenance Programs?
When these systems are installed they have a manufacturer warranty on parts, now if you also have a home warranty company who covers issues the system has this acts similarly to the manufacturer warranty right? The reason for Bi-Annual Maintenance is that it keeps the manufacturer warranties active and if home warranty sends a company to your home to diagnose the system and the damage is due to lack of maintenance the home warranty company will NOT pay to have repairs or replacements completed, those costs will be 100% out of your pocket.
We recommend keeping an HVAC company maintenance program active to make sure that all warranties are valid.
